I have been practicing Yoga and Pilates for over 15 years and qualified as a Pilates Instructor in 2010. The health of the mind and body are inextricably linked and I love teaching group classes and one to one sessions to teach and encourage people to feel better physically and mentally.
There are 34 core Pilates postures which were created by Joseph Pilates as an exercise and breathing regime that develops the body uniformly, corrects posture, restores vitality, tones the body , invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit.
As part of my journey to harmony and balance in body, mind and spirit I qualified as a Holistic Nutritionist in 2017 and l love advising people on healthy lifestyle choices and eating habits.
I am very happy to be joining Shakti Den to teach Pilates and offer advise on nutrition.
Mixed Abilities Pilates
Starting on the 22nd of September: Wednesdays 9.30-10.30
We will work through the 34 core Pilates exercises in a layered flow , so the class is ideal for all levels including beginners through to intermediate and advanced practitioners. The postures will help to strengthen , lengthen and tone the whole body , improving flexibility , posture and general well being.
